Don't worry about your English, Bazarus, for we all enjoy your posts on the forum. Thanks for advising all of us on the forum about this potentially dangerous situation.

Troy,

Most of the people who are the subjects of these e-mails want you to forward them to their offices ASAP. I received the subject e-mail. I forwarded it to spoof@paypal.com. The quicker they receive copies of the fake requests, the sooner the offending party can be caught and prosecuted. I don't even have a paypal account!

a good site any paypal user should check out is

http://www.paypalsucks.com/

It's a legit site made by people who got swindled by con artists via paypal, i have been swindled myself and have known a lot of other people who have as well, imo, it's secure to buy through paypal, but if you are going to sell anything online do not accept money via paypal, sooner or later it will catch up to you.

Would you elaborate on this issue? I'm receiving most payments through PayPal and I'd be intresting to hear your story.

I've been using paypal for at least three years and never had a single problem collecting any mony owed to me, and never had a single problem when I made payments. I personally think the paypal service is excellent. :p :D

Thats an article from a former paypal employee turned whistle blower, u can read it and it goes into detail, i got scammed for like $50, it could of been worse i received $1000's via paypal, and i have friends who have lost $1000's some of which are being sued by paypal, read that article, but basically someone gets a stolen credit card online or whatever(which is very simple to do), they buy something from you, preferrably something expensive, and since it was a stolen credit card months later once paypal figures out what happened they order you to pay back the money, and so then you are out whatever merchandise you sold. I had another buyer retract $100, saying that he never got the merchandise, when he had, and paypal refunded him the money, well i fought it, got the money back, and then they charged me a $10 fee for their involvement. It's just pathetic, without customers they would be nothing, and the way they have it set up a lot of their customers get stabbed in the back.

I get an email something like that almost everyday. They are just frauds trying to get information. Delete them, it is just a part of being on the net, kind of why you lock your doors at home or in your car, the world is full of not so nice people.

Hey Voytek, the catch is, it is next door to Bumfuc$ Egypt. There are more cows than people down there. Great area if ya want to be a coal miner. All the woman down there are barefoot and pregnant. Mostly by kinfolk. Ya know what they do on Holloween, pump kin. Hairlip and flipper country my man, that's the catch. I met a guy from Ronaoke at work. One day he called me at home and said he was comming out my way with his wife and sister. Wanted to stop by. Well, when he showed up, there was only one girl in the car. You figure it out. You could probably get a good deal on some property in Florida! LOL
OK folks, just kidding here. Don't get your panty hose in a knot. Remember, I know councilman Barry.

Trust me, it's a scam! I gave a guy my bank info a week ago, the money should be there any day now and then he's going to contact me to give him back 30% of the money and I get to keep 70%. What a deal, just couldn't pass this one up! "Too good to be true!" haha!!
So, don't fall for it!
