A fella once told me that he preferred this type of a cue to a sneaky pete
because so many good players carry sneaky pete but this was perfect to stay"under the radar"
I remember walking into a pool room with a cue like this,a few people came over and complimented me on my nice cue
several said,now that's all you need to play a good game
one perky little lady cast an exceptionally admiring glance at my cue
she asked if she could try it out
Isaid sure,a crowd gathered to watch her more than anything else I remember one forward fella asked why don't you give it to her
i replied why don't you put up $300 against it and play 1 game of 8 Ball
He was kinda on the spot so he played ,first one than a second and a third game,after he paid $1200 and said,that's it for me I am empty
I gave him the cue and said,its yours,you are a good sport,perhaps you can give it to the little lady
he did,she offered to buy the drinks and last i heard they left holding hands
Not to bore you with a long story but another fella said,you got $1200 easy money "you want to play some 8 ball?"
What have i got to lose,$300 pr game?
4 games later he was broke and I ordered drinks and called him a good sport,gave him $100 bill and said,you are too nice a guy to go home broke
I was told later that this was the first time anyone ever heard of anyone there betting over $5 pr game
It all started with a nice little cue that played good and cost less than $150
Perhaps action,adventure,or romance will come to you also,but you have to take the first step
