Here is a picture of an older McDaniel cue I recently acquired. Does anyone know when this cue might have been made?

Early to mid 90's. Where did you acquire it I may have sold it originally. I used to sell quite a few at tournaments in the southeast.

I got it from Dan Tull at Shooter's billiards in Kansas, he probably picked it up off a busted road player back in the 90's:D :D I was thinking about that time frame, I got quite a few of these off of Adam Orr around that time frame and was able to sell them very quickly in Oklahoma City.

Thanks

IIRC this was Bill's Q-24.

This model was HOT when first introduced at a retail price of apprx 2K in the early (I think:confused: ) 90's. As far as I know he was still making them until he sold the shop.

As time went by Bill incorporated some "tricks" into the build which resulted in a very unique and pleasing (IMO) hit unlike other piloted SS jt'd cues. Soft with a lot of feedback, almost Ivory like....

Adam,

You are right in that this cue has a really smooth feel for a steel jointed cue. Thanks for the information.

Take Care and Happy Holidays
