Mcdermott carom shaft (traditional maple)

Hello.
Thinking of buying the Mcdermott traditional maple Carom shaft. First of all, does anyone ever played with one? If so, what do you think about it?

My second question is.
I have to know the collar size, my pool cue is 0.841 (21.4mm) and I would really like if it would be flush with the butt section.
I have send an email to McDermott, but they are closed right now, and I don't want to wait that long to find out.

If anyone knows? Please let me know
(And as usual, I apologise if my English is not the best)

The McD Carom shaft is OK, I have one on a cue!

Can i ask you if you would like to measure the collar on the shaft? It would be very helpful. Regards Ronnie

i dont know for sure but i think you have to measure with lower part of the micrometer where its scalloped/indented meaning closer to the points otherwise you get a bigger number i think

Sorry do not understand what you mean? The picture you see is what my calibre says 21.4mm that's 0.842519685 Inches. My pool shaft says the same. Sorry if I didn't understand you're answer.
