McDermott Joe Camel cue

I took one of these in on trade and can't find squat about it !! Anyone know the value / production numbers / collectable ?? Thanks for any info !! Bill
 
yes there is a McDermott logoon the butt. It has Joe shooting on the forearm and camel spelled in billiard balls on the butt will post pic's tonight.
 
i used to have one... regret getting rid of it... i think it was originally 40 from the joe camel catalog back when they still did the camel bucks....

McD made these for camel around 1988-1994(key word is around). everyone i know that had one liked them a lot. i think they had a 3/8-10 joint on some of them. my 2cents worth
 
They all had 3/8 10 pins. There were several different designs. Mine had a really funny close up of "Joe" on the butt. It looked phallic I mean it was all wrong. Got a lot of laughs. I think the only collector value would be if somebody was trying to put the whole set together. i'd hang on to it you never know, when smoking becomes illegal, promo items will get collectable.

Were their also Joe Camel cues that were not made by Mcdermott? I know I have one somewhere but I did not think it was a Mcdermott.
 
I'm sure there are. Mcdermott used to have the NASCAR lisences too. In their "lisensed cue" section you can see the have Jim Bean and Jack Daniels now, in a year or two they won't have those.

Joe Camel always frightened me. Upside down he looks like a smoking p*enis.

I don't think I could shoot with a cue that looked like that.
 
Anybody know anything about Nascar mcdermotts? I have several and a couple for sale including a Dale Earnhardt Sr. one That I would entertain offers including trades

Rackem, There were some that were made by someone else, I have one. Mine is a junker, warped from the day it arrived.
