McDermott or Samsara?

I am in the process of buying a new cue. I was pretty set on a McDermott G407 ($391.00), but came across a Samsara BC13 ($575.00, little more than I wanted to spend). I've shot with McDermotts before and know I like them, plus you can't beat that warranty, and have never heard of Samsara. Aesthetically speaking, the BC13 is exactly what I've wanted in a cue (no wrap, no fancy inlay, just gorgeous cocobolo/maple wood) but no idea if it's worth shelling out the extra $$ over a McDermott which I know I'd like shooting with. Also, couldn't find any warranty info for Samsara. Anybody got experience with Samsara cues? Should I go with a sure thing, or head into unfamiliar territory?

i have bought a cue, a shaft and a friend has a cue from them. great craftsmanship, and hit the coolest thing about samsara is they will change the taper to what ever you want they have a solid stiff hit not sure how to decribe what they hit like it could be decribed as a schon without the steel joint. i guess, its i little more live than a schon. i had to sell mine i needed money. if you have any ?s dont be afraid to call samsara and talk to the people in the shop extremely nice people and knowledgeable. they made predator shafts before they were sent overseas

If you haven't already, go to Samsara cues website. Much good info. They are among the very best of the very best, and their work has paved the way for many of the more recent cuemakers.
