Mcdermott

Give 'em a little more than 6 minutes to answer & they will.I tried the G-Core,very good shaft.I've not tried the I-series !!!

I'm finished with trying new shafts. I'm sticking with my stock maple forever. I want to get so used to it that it feels like an extension of myself. I see guys switching shaft after shaft and they hit balls like bricks because there is no consistency to their game. All that money down the drain.

I haven't played with either i2 or i3, but I agree it's maple shafts for best feel.

I own an i2 and like it (I don't use it anymore because I too prefer solid maple). I recently bought an i3 and returned it the same say--worst shaft I've ever used. I don't know if it was a lemon or what, but it weighed 4.9oz and hit like a broom stick. If you need an aftermarket engineered shaft, the McDermott's are good because of their warranty.

Personal opinion: I'd say the Players HXT shafts are a better choice for performance/price/waranty.
