Me and Grindz Matchup!

I have next but lenny is really busy right now so it looks like I am just going to have to wait for a shot at the king I guess. Tim you and I can play for the vcash you owe me if you want.
I just want to have the guys play who haven't been seen yet,too many people have seen my ugly mug,not once but twice so I figure we have 4 matches that are definate and then me and you can play for the Burger King Crown and a Baconator, perhaps alittle cash too to make it interesting.

V air barrel?

JAB, I'm always 'game' for a game, but it sounds like you don't like to play w/out stakes. I just don't gamble on pool, but will gladly play for pride and braggin' rights. I couldn't in good conscience shoot a v air barrel at you :D It's not my style.

What's your speed? You can PM me about a time if you like....no more marathons though....I can go 3-4 hours non-stop but 8 hours is more than this AARP wants to go anymore. Let me know.

If anyone knows how to transfer vcash, would you please let me know how.

Wow! Congratulations Fast Lenny!!!

I haven't had a chance to watch the whole match.
I saw some of the rotation match while it was live, but been a bit busy since then. I thought for sure Grindz had you all-around at that point.

Haven't used VCash, but I could've lost it all with odds, if someone would've bet me after the rotation part had started. :)

It's great to see that looks can be deceiving...

Rotation to 1000 seemed quite long.

If I may suggest constructive criticism, any reason why the sessions have to be super-marathon sessions? I think I like the idea of shorter sessions like Tim said. When they go beyond that, I don't like so much. You may have some grand plan, so I'm all ears and open to it... Or you guys may just be keeping the options open to what the two players decide, which I can understand.

Overall, I give your streaming a thumbs up...

Thanks for the great work you provide...

Hey John. Congrats on your win last night!

Lenny actually suggested a 500 point game and I thought that sounded short (having never played rotation other than by game). After I practiced a 500 point game the day before and it took a substantial amount of time...I knew that 1k would be too long but saw the OTR site advertising it...so I didn't say anything when we met up. My Bad!!!! I really didn't have much of an idea of time length though as I've only played rotation or 1P 10-15 games each!!

You should get your name on the list of challengers, and fit in a challenge match yourself. After playing yesterday, I think a race to handicap in 8,9, or 10 ball, 100 in 14.1, and 5 in 1P would be a good solution.

I will say one thing about the marathon though. It can get you into dead punch!! After 5 hours of rotation, 9 ball looks like tiddly winks  I can see why the Philipino players are so strong!!

Thanks and I was able to pull it from the flames,I played poorly and was fatigued as I ate at 11am and then played without a break and no food, just water.I think the rotation was too long and suggested 500 points but never played the game before,Tim suggested 1000 so we went with it,4 hours later we both regretted it.I think the race to 500,race to 5 in one hole and the race to 5 in 8 ball should have only went for 5-6 hours tops which isn't too bad for this Shootout style of challenge matches. The one guy picks his game, the other pics his and there is a neutral game.If 2 guys want to play a long set of say 9 ball, race to 30 or something then that is fine also.I just ask for future stream matches that the players make a friendly wager even if its just dinner and table time to keep it interesting. :)

Fast Lenny thanks for the response.

I agree with you and Grindz too that race to 500 rotation would've been more fitting. And that the race to 5 1 pocket and race to 5 in 8 ball seems reasonable.

I understand that all great ideas need a little tweaking sometimes. Thanks for your response and I acknowledge you on your flexibility.

Instead of adding another post, I decided to add it here.
Edited: Oh yeah... I like the Logo too!

Could be an interesting match with you and Justin,he is an 8 and a good one,we have played twice in tournament play and I won once and he won once.I think you guys would have an interesting matchup, maybe 9 ball,8 ball, and straights or one hole.

Tim,
It was fun to watch you play. You play well. Its always good to see a new face in the local pool scene. I will have the videos up shortly so you can check yourself out and see if you can get any pointers from watching your own game in action.

Lenny,
Nice job at the win. It was a close one in the 1 pocket nice come back in the last rack. You going to Groggys tomorrow? Ill be there.

Have a good one guys

SteveH

Thanks Steve. I wish it had been fun to watch how I play from inside my own brain  (wine, stomp, curse....), but I will look forward to seeing it from the outside. I can then be an armchair qb for my own game......maybe I'll even jump up and down and yell at myself....."you moron....why did you shoot that? :grin-square: I do look forward to seeing it though. Thanks for your and Lenny's time and effort on all of the OTR things.

Logo is sweet btw!

I agree people can get bored watching 2 guys who play B speed playing one game too long,so the race in straights can be to 100 instead,9 in 9 ball,5 in 8 ball, and 5 in one pocket.I would like to keep the matches shorter also whether I am playing or streaming. :D
