5 years is a joke.does anyone honestly think it takes 5 years to cut a 1/2" of wood off of a Maple forearm?

No ... but if you admit you cut it faster then the other cue makers that sell snake oil and depend on BS to sell their wares call YOU a joke ... :grin-square:
When I started making cues about 8 years ago I sure did not wait years to cut the wood.
It was days.
I still have the first two cues I made on a Unique Cue Companion and a Taper/Shaper in a two bedroom apartment and both are still straight and playable despite my ignorance of the PROPER way to make a cue.
I guess I should fear that after another few years they might warp cause I did not make them PROPERLY, used the wrong glue, drilled instead of bored, did not dip it in anything, and a multitude of other mistakes PROPER cue makers just dont make.

Paul Dayton, I always thought you were a cut above using all the cue making smoke and mirrors and am very surprised you think it takes years to season a piece of wood and cut a forearm PROPERLY :sorry:
