Measle ball question...

good question
i have 2 "measles balls
one is more yellow than the other
which one (or both )is the real deal??
 
I've seen a few versions floating around, especially here in Asia. The ones I've come across the most have been slightly off-white or yellowish in color, and/or with slightly smaller spots. The differences are only slight, but you should be able notice something "off" about the ball, especially if you can find a genuine ball to compare it to.
 
Its been sitting since Christmas? Shame on you.....thats abuse. You gotta at least give it one whirl.
 
I saw one of the knockoffs, it was definately off color and just didn't seem to play right.
Didn't pay that much attention to the dots, but I think side by side with a real one differences would be apparent.

I didn't ask any more questions about it because I didn't want to seem unappreciative but I would like to know if I have the real deal...if there is a way to tell, that is.

Well if it didn't come in a blister package saying it was a TV ball, then she probably bought a knock off or practice ball.

Now I did play with a fake one and it played okay.
