All this talk about a degree difference on the miters got me going down and measuring the miters on my table. They measure 144º, which is three degrees more than Diamond uses. Balls seem to want to funnel out of my pockets when hit hard, even though they measure 5" across the points. Is this normal?
I also have pretty deep shelves on my table. I can get two balls to sit almost side by side and still be inside the points. One ball will sit on the edge of the shelf with about 1/4" from a 5" block of wood set between the points. Not as loose playing as some might predict from pocket opening alone.
