what is the sub floor surface?
That's several questions it seems to me, I'd suggest calling Brunswick directly and ask their mechanics directly, do you need their phone number?
No thanks. Table is assembled and completed but assuming the table will be moved at some point I was hoping the “mechanics” could help me out in this forum. I appreciate the help and cooperation.

So let me see if I understand your question correctly. You're going to be moving your pool table in the future, you don't want to pay a mechanic to move it, so you're asking for free advice here on AZB so you can move it yourself and not pay anyone a penny....is that about right? No thanks. No. That’s not correct. I actually asked a mechanic to do it (you). You declined. Since I like to know where the bones are buried especially on my personal table and would like to make sure that whomever moves the table that the results are to my liking. Since this table was purchased new and is the most expensive commercial table available I think it’s safe to say that the price of moving and setting up the table is probably not part of the equation. However I can say that the next move will probably be put on carpet that is thicker than it is currently on. Meaning that the table will settle soon after installation. As it settles it will more than likely need a leg leveling adjustment and possibly two. Since this is not a difficult process once the bed is leveled I think it would be wise to make the leg levelers move as freely as possible so that when I notice the table playing ever so slightly off as it settles that I personally can make a subtle adjustment.
Again I thank you for your assitance in the matter. Your input has been invaluable.

You did not mention why. My guess is that it is something you just don’t want to do these days. So rather than ask again or try to be annoying I just let it be. It wasn’t a big deal to me. I have moved tables before and I have set them up before. I can’t say it’s something I truly enjoy although I do like seeing the results of the hard work I put in with my own hands. I think many get a satisfaction out of working hard and getting results. I tend to do this with a many of my passions. Not that assembling tables is my passion but playing on something I put together does offer satisfaction.
Again thanks for your help in the matter.

We had this conversation. About 1300 miles.

I certainly would have been open to that at the time of the initial installation when I inquired. Although you were already going to be in my area at that time and wouldn’t have been exclusively for me. However now.....after all this nonsense. I am really not sure. But, if this is something you want to entertain after all this then I will keep it in consideration when I do move it. But, the price isn’t the issue anymore. There is much more to it now. Although I must admit. These last few exchanges do resemble a much more humane way of dealing with any situation.

Then I want you to look at this from a business stand point, my views. Driving 4 days round trip, spending about 1300 in fuel, my truck averages 8mpg and its diesel, plus 4 days minimum in hotels, food on the road, maintenance on my truck, 2600 miles is halfway to having the oil and filter replaced. Then 2 more days to move and set up your pool table for another $750.
$2600 + $750= $3350 - expenses leaves what? 6 days on the road means i don't make the $400 a day I already make, without all the expenses, that's $2400 without any wear and tear on my truck, or driving 2600 miles, what would you do if you were me?

The easiest way to communicate with me is on the phone, and I'll give you an example. I worked with an accountant for a year over the phone and emailing pictures back and forth, to not only rebuild his very first CG3 as a project pool table, and trust me, he had NO experience working on pool tables whatsoever. He rebuilt his rails to have new sub rails, Procut pockets, 5 rail bolts per rail, drilled his slate for 5 bolts per rail, steel plate joined his slates together, installed a 44 point leveling system, even installed casting leveling screws to flush mount the castings, modified the frame to make room for the GC4 drop pockets....and he didn't even PLAY pool! I charged him $500 for at least a 1000 hours of my time over a year or so. Today, hes working in the billiards industry in MD, and owns his own shop, buys used GCs, rebuilds them and sells them to home owners. In react to how people treat me, and I don't match to anyone elses drumbeat.I would say no! Unless I had other business there. But, I am one that asks for something for nothing. Which is what you claimed I was doing. I responded to your claims.
Glen, I am and never going to say you shouldn’t make money. I say make as much as you can. In my industry I am the highest priced individual in my field. So I get it. Totally get it. That’s not even the issue. I just don’t like the way you respond to people. Even if they are buffoons. It’s toxic. It’s toxic to them. It’s toxic to you and it’s toxic to the forum. That’s my only argument here. It’s the only horse I have in this race. It’s certainly not your knowledge or capability. Not a single person in here (maybe one or two over a long period) question your abilities or contributions. You are the man in that regard. It’s just the responses that start these flame wars. That’s it. That’s the only thing.
I am and have repeatedly said I do not and will not consider myself a “mechanic”. Not that I couldn’t be one. I assure you I could. I don’t have the time or the willingness to give up my career to do anything remotely close to this full time. I do get enjoyment out of the “informative” posts as I am sure everyone does and I wish it could remain that way.

My time is my choice to waste it if I want to, but I don't feel I've ever wasted it so far helping people out. And there's 100's of people on AZ who have called me, ever see one post negative about having a phone conversation with me???And do you think that I am so lame that I don’t understand these last two posts? It actually makes me regret a few of my comments. I know in there you are an ok guy but, it doesn’t always come out that way. It generally comes out completely opposite. Look I will call you because I have some serious questions I do want answered but our relationship has not allowed me to ask out of not only fear of the response but, also out of respect by not abusing your time. Which I do appreciate.
