I was researching on azb about how to clean billiards balls and I found a couple guys saying they used megiars plastx and some microfiber towels. Well im off today and I got both of those laying in the garage so I thought I'd give it a go. I thought it did a pretty good job, but my tablet doesnt take the best pix. Heres half way thru, and what I noticed was the skylight reflection is very crisp on the clean ones, while the dirty ones are blurry. I was also surprised at the amount of nasty on the microfiber towel. Anyways just thought id share. Sorry for the random post.

They look good! I've been using Nu Finish Scratch Doctor recently and it seems to be doing and excellent job also. (I had some in the garage and decided to try it in the home made ball polisher). Doesn't seem to be leaving the white looking spots and streaks I use to get with the ball cleaner.

They do look good!

How long did it take/ how many are done?

They are all done. To be honest I cant really give you an exact time haha im watching skyfall and the pup went out a few times and I stopped for a coffee, but if I had to guess I'd say ~30 mins if thats all you're doing. Im really shocked at how well it worked. The measles ball has been in my bag for the better part of 6 years with no cleaning (I know) and the plastix made it look really, really nice...minus the spots where it's flown off table and struck things. Heres a shot of them all clean.
