I was curious what all your opinions were on this cloth?

Does it play comparable to 860?

how does it wear?

Mercury Ultra is definitely different from 860. 860 is heavier, faster and more durable. My opinion is if you want something that plays like 860...get ya some 860. :grin:
 
I'd go with 860HR and never look back. You'll probably recover your table twice in the time frame it would take you to recover once with 860HR. I'm a big believer in you get what you pay for.

If the price is 75% less and you cover your tables yourself wouldnt it be better to recover them 2-3 times a year to have people say that you take really good care of your tables and always have nice new looking cloth?

As long as it play fast and the tables true whats the diffrence?

The more often you cover your tables, the faster the slate backing and staple areas on the rails will wear out. Also, covering your tables more often doesn't necessarily = taking better care of them. Putting better playing longer lasting cloth on them and keeping the wear and tear down is taking better care of them. You cloth will look newer and play better longer if you go with 860HR. Ultra will wear out faster and will not look as new as long, and again, will lead to more staple wear.
