As the title says. Attended the 2014 CCS Nationals in Mississauga, Ontario. Played in the Advanced 8 Ball event. While there I met up with PT109. Knew him for twenty five plus years. Hadn't see him in over ten. Sure great to talk to a pool legend. Lots of old pool stories told.
While we spoke, a gentleman walked up and began to speak with PT. He then introduced himself as our own Mississauga Fats. Like most other members I've met, his words on the forum are pretty much what you get when you meet him in person. Another great forum member!
Not sure if there were any other AZ'ers in attendance. Spent the entire day Wednesday playing. Began at 9 AM and played every hour and one half on. Finished up around 8 PM. Lost a match to Bill Macpherson from Nova Scotia. As I mentioned to him after the match, never want to play him again
. Before I sank a ball, Bill ran the first four racks and was on his way to a fifth when he moved a ball which partially blocked a pocket. He jarred the shot and allowed me to win my one rack. Oh well, there's always next year.
