Met Donovan today......

I missed more than a few "crutch" shots tonight. Ended up with a score of 26, not bad but less than I should've gotten. My first 2 games were better than the last 2, I think my leg was giving up on me by then. Hell, even Donovan said several times "That looks painful!"
Even so, I still enjoyed playing. Best was Donovan's team beat our rivals so we're back to being tied for first place! Thanks Donovan, you go you spicy cheese stick thingy eater!

I think Kool-Ade was in such bad shape with jis foot, I should have been shouting First-Ade . Man, that name is just waaaay tooo much fun!
Yeah, it was nice to beat those guys, as they do win every session. But what was really nice of them was to let our player who showed up an hour late, to still play his matches. Those guys rule in cool...well not as much as First-ade....but pretty damn close!
AS far as time to start on May 6....I was hoiping for an 11:00 start, due to the fact they have a tourney we can all play in afterwards too. Man Samiel, you won't play on weekdays, you complain about 8 footers (when it is free pool), and you have to play late...we need to get you some kind of difficulty award.
psssp... *whispering to everyone but Samiel* I am really trying to get him all wound up so play like I was real serious.
And another thing Samiel....your shoe is untied!
So we got us 5 fish in the tank so far. I will try and get someone else from our league to come too, to keep this a free outing!
11:00am would be fine with me... I'd just have to cancel my normal one-pocket game... I didn't know Volcano's had any tournaments on Sunday. I haven't been to a tournament in about 6 months or so.
I'm sure Donovan has improved greatly since our last meeting, so I'm pretty sure it's time for me to get whooped up on.
If we can get 6 people, that would be great! We really could have a mini-tournament or two (I'd say round-robin).

LMAO!!!! I should have yelled, "Does anyone know First-Ade?" That way I could have answered myself and said..."Yeah, the guys a BUM!"
Anyway, we'll come up with some kind of multi game format...this will be great fun...I think 3 different games per match up would be great and the 3rd game would be used as a Tie-Breaker. How about:
Race to 3 8-Ball
Race to 5 9-Ball
And if a tie, Race to 3 Banks
They are all pretty fast games and the rules are easy...*wink* just for you brother Maniac!!!
Any thoughts?
