If you're interested in learning about cue-making or just some machining/metal lathe fundamentals, check out this link. I know "zero" about machining. Yeah, I've watched a few cuemakers work and viewed the Hightower tapes/book but I still know zilch (just want to make sure I don't try to qualify myself in the least as being someone of knowledge, LOL).
Anyhow, I wanted to know just some basic info as it applied to the metal lathe as a whole and found this link (and others). Someone might find it useful just to give you a good understanding of some terminology, etc.
