yes it's too small for what i need it to do. I"m making rocket ships....shaped like pool cues etc.

I sold similar lather not long ago but mine had more distance between centers. Wish I could have kept it but a new machining center was more profitable. I love working with big machines. Here is a shot of me doing some work on my big floor mill. The cutter is 12" in diameter.

Yes it is a pain in the ass but the old wood chestnut shafts are priceless. :thumbup:
