Method for Case Identification?

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if there's a surefire way or ways to differentiate a Fellini case from a Kelli or a Gore, if it doesn't have a tag? I've always thought I had a good handle on it, but every time I think I can tell the difference, a different case jumps up with a different set of characteristics to shoot holes in my theory... Thanks!

Regards,

Steve

Steve, without the tag it's pretty difficult, as they pretty much used the same suppliers for extruded tubes, locks, liners, and hides. I believe that Ann Gores had a slightly thinner tube, but thight might not be true for all the cases they did. From my understanding there were not a whole lot of Kelli cases made and they're the most rare. The difficulty, oddities, and variences is often part of the fun !!!

hard to say

I've had them all and have noticed a few things over the years. In my opinion the Ann Gore cases were a little smaller in diameter than the Fellini cases, the plastic wall thickness is a little more thin on the Kelli cases vs the other two. Without the tag you can pretty much tell people whatever you want and it will be very hard to dispute.
