Meucci 88-6 info needed

I ran into a literal new old stock 88-6 "acorn" Meucci Original. I was shocked. The receipt is with it and it has been in the case since purchase. He wouldn't price it but said he would sell it if I found out the real value and gave it to him.
Anyone know? I have never held one til the other day.

500-600  jmho

Difficult.

The value is what somebody is willing to pay. The cue market is depressed as well, which complicates matters.

I don't think the assessment already made is far off, maybe a little strong. Certainly should be worth more than a perfect cue that has been played.

BUT NOS? With a receipt for purchase?

No such thing.

NOS means it was never sold. Remained in inventory.

If it was bought then you could say it is "as new" or "with tags". But certainly it is not NOS.

Some may argue it, but to me there is a clear difference.

Never chalked or fired then.

Also I have been around pool all my life. I have always loved Meuccis. I have only seen 1 88-6 in play ever, and I am in TN. We aren't that far from the factory and this area has a lot of their cues. I have seen many more Olympians played than the 1 acorn.

I'm from Germany and I bought half a year before here an unchalked and never played 88-6 acorn ORIGINAL MEUCCI ! I really was lucky because I only payed 600 Euros, it's about 665 $. I collect ORIGINAL MEUCCIS and Gambler theme cues and I would have payed for this acorn like new up to 1.200 Euro !
Greetings from Bavaria
