Saw on Facebook that there will be a demo cf pro shaft at DCC where they will be taking preorders. Price is going to be $395 and preorder is full price. They said any preorder that they can match the ring work of your cue too. Believe they will offer any joint type. They also said they will have full cues and just shafts for sale at the Expo.

I'd personally be very interested if they come out with one in the Ultimate Weapon diameter of 11.65mm area.

Edit:. Here is the post from Facebook

STATEMENT FROM MEUCCI CUES CARBON FIBER PRO SHAFT. I have an announcement from Meucci cues LLC and Bob Meucci. In light of the information of our new carbon fiber Shaft being leaked out. The amount of phone calls and messages that we have received we feel like we need to Address the issue. Carbon fiber is nothing new to us it’s something that the Bob Meucci looked into 20 years ago. He felt that the weaknesses outweighed the strengths. When the new carbon fiber shaft came out we tried them and tested them and we felt that they had the same looks strengths and weaknesses as 20 years ago. It’s amazing what a million dollar marketing budget will do for a Shaft. We looked into some of the ways modern technology and our own new ideas could keep the strengths and get rid of the weaknesses that we saw in our past experience and the current shafts. We are confident after a year of testing that we have solved the riddle of the weaknesses with also keeping the strengths. We have two prototypes that I will be testing the final testing this week and we are really confident that they are going to pass. I want to make this extremely clear Meucci Cues is not putting out a carbon fiber Shaft to jump onto the bandwagon like many many of the other manufacturers and Cue makers have done recently. We are putting out a carbon fiber Shaft because of the overwhelming request that we have had in the last two years from our loyal customers of 20 to 40 years. We were not going to put out the shaft at all unless we could correct the performance weaknesses and keep the advantages of carbon fiber material. Our current carbon fiber shaft will be called the “carbon fiber Pro “ we planned to release it at the Super Billiards Expo 2019 but now with the flood of phone calls it will now be available for pre-order with a April to May delivery time from the Meucci cues Factory. They will be priced at $395 plus $28 shipping and handling. You may also pre order at the Meucci booth at the Derby city classic. Bob Meucci myself and a Meucci Pro that did testing will be there to take pre orders and talk and answer questions. We also plan to have pool cues with the carbon pro and shafts for sale at the super billiards expo this year. All ordered full cues will have ring work on the shaft to match the cue. We are also not going to have any problem with availability or holding back for the purposes of keeping the demand high. We will be able to handle within a reasonable amount of time any amount of orders for Shafts or cues. Shafts or cues are not available for pre-order through dealers at the current time. With in a short amount of time we will make these available from some of our distributors and also a retail outlet that we will announce it in the future. To pre-order your shaft at this moment you can call Meucci cues at (662) 895 - 3220 all pre orders require full payment in advance. We encourage everyone to share this message please. Thank you Chris Lawson on behalf of Bob Meucci and Meucci Cues LLC.

Just what the world needed, a carbon fiber shaft that warps 1 month after purchase.

So what he is saying is everyone else is throwing out untested shit while a company that is known for sending out absolute garbage to thier loyal customer with out any real care has put in the r and d to make a great carbon fiber shaft that is better then all the others Lol I’m not buying it or this but hey at least its coming in considerably cheaper then other companyies product so the meucci fans will love it.

They say as they are running as fast as they can to catch up to the wagon so they can jump on....

HAHAHAAAAA

Really...SMH @ $28 shipping lol

Seriously tho, the one thing Meucci is doing right is beating everyone else’s price. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason for any shaft ever in life to cost $500-$600 no matter what it’s made of or who made it. Take two shafts of almost identical proportion, made by the same company but with a substantial gap in price and the only real difference is a logo...and there you have the sheep hereder’s controlling their flock :banghead:

Agreed..., It's easy to make and manufacture if you do it right. No sense in gauging everyone out of their money.

I would love it so much if the Meucci Carbon Fiber shaft played better than the competition - just for the discussion it would bring - OR, should I say -- according to a statistically significant volume of feedback it "played better" (this is always subjective, of course).

As for me, I've tried the Predator Carbon Fiber owned by a friend who loves it. It wasn't terrible by any means, but didn't offer any significant result over maple (that I identified). It was a little too light for my taste as well and the feedback was dull. The taper felt great and it was obviously a quality product. Ultimately though, I'll stick with maple. But, if I have a chance to try a Cuetec, or Becue, or Meucci...and the Heavens open up after I play with it, I'll certainly buy one.

You charge what people will pay. That’s how free market works. Predator has people lined up to pay the price so obviously the price is correct. Meucci has a history of selling sub par products over the las few decades and our unapologetic about it so
They can’t charge a premium price.

I’m glad there are different companies making them now. Variety is a good thing.

I got a revo that I dont use regularly. Don't think I need another one. Cool that they are matching up ringwork though.

Moochi smootchi... :deadhorse: I'd like to see the cue manufacturers team up with a company that actually has a lot of carbon fiber manufacturing experience. Like Easton or Giant for example.

Mexico Cues

I have been using Meucci cues for over forty years, and have never had a problem. I have two pro shafts and the carbon fiber shaft. They all play great.
