Meucci Carbon Pro and Budget Billiards Issues?

They would rather just build the cues... sell them and move on ..... anyone needing a shaft built or repair done on existing cues... well they pay for it along with hassle and frustration.... if they are lucky enough to receive a product

I definitely think they lost the order # or your home address/contact info
i dont because i talk to them all he time .... i call once a month. when i first sent the cue i called to make sure they had it and that there was no shipping damage because i sent the cue insured. after that i waited a long time and start calling once a month. they tell me they will find out more from the "technician" and will call me back, but i never get a return call

You need to get an order number or find out where you cue is and that if they cannot provide this information then they either have the option to refund you for the entire cue amount or have action taken against them in civil court. Maybe that will get them going. Darren seems like he's at least willing to help. The woman or whoever else responds seems like an awful person.

i called them about a year ago and they told me they haveto rebuild one of the shafts because it was bad. why has it taken so long to build the other shaft? annoying.

yeah the ladt who usually answers the phone seems somewhat rude and doesnt really care about the issue.

Just an update. I spoke with Darren at Meucci over the phone and emailed Julia through the Billiards site Where I thanked them for all their help on the front end and looked forward to getting this problem taken care of. Essentially I was very nice by insistent on the front end. Either calling or emailing every day.
I sent Julia an email telling her that they send an 11.9 instead of a 12.25 and provided measurements to prove it. She said it's likely they accidentally switched out tubes and sent me a return label.
Budget Billiards has sent me a return label and the CF was shipped back Friday and should arrive Monday.
I've emailed her the specs for the shaft multiple times telling her 12.25 but that I know CF is trickey so that something between 12.25-12.4 is acceptable.
I got a response Friday evening that my shipment notice was received by them and that they're already getting started on the new shaft with the correct parameters and nothing more is needed on my end. I will let you know when I hear back and how long it takes to get new shaft and if it is the appropriate specs.

I hope it all works out for you.
They have been a terrible company for years.
I remember several years ago a member of the Meucci family posted here that a new day was coming and they were going to be great again.

We will see. I will keep you guys in the loop.

Funny thing is that if you order a new cue or shaft from Budget, it comes very quickly and right on spec. I bought two cues recently that arrived in just a few days, and then I ordered a custom CF shaft that arrived early. Still no word on my repair that has been there since July.

You are correct... I had a cue out with meucci for almost 2 yrs for 2 shafts. I got annoyed and decided to order a shaft from budget ... 2 months and delivered. Not sure wth is going on over at the meucci factory

That has been my experience. Ordered a Sneaky Pete w/12.25mm Carbon Pro shaft it came right away and was fine. Ordered a Sky Woodward sig cue w/Carbon Pro shaft 12.25mm it came right away, no issues, I wanted another cue with similar curly maple forearm and sent an email asking if they could help select another cue as highly figured as the Sky Woodward I bought for my son. Never even got a response.

Still waiting on my repair. Butt refinish and new shaft. Been there since July. I called before sending and they told me to expect 6-8 weeks. It has now been 16 weeks. I've emailed back and forth with Julia (who was helpful), and Darren, who has responded but all I'm being told is that "it's going to be a while because we are extremely behind". He was not willing to give me any estimate of ETA. I have bought three Meucci's in the past 4 months and a CF shaft as well. All arrived quickly, even the custom CF shaft. It is almost like there are two separate companies over there. Darren offered (suggested?) that I just have him return my cue rather than wait for the repair. It it weren't for the sentimental value, I would just scrap it.
