Meucci cue repair?

Anyone here that has a meucci ever send it in to them for repairs? I have a SE3 before they started putting numbers on the cues and I was wondering if they did a good job of making the cue look new. I'm not looking to sell it I would just like having it in newish shape with a new shaft (the thing is practically papa smurf blue). And if you thought they did a good job was the price reasonable? Thanks in advance.

I would STRONGLY advise against sending it back to Meucci. If you want a refinish and a new shaft, ratcues/Ryan here on the forum does excellent work and for a nice price through Muellers Recreation. PM him, and he will give you his pricing.
Reasons not to send it back to Meucci....... too numerous to mention.

Many people have had problems with sending their cues back to Meucci for repairs. This includes 6 month turnarrounds all the way to never getting their cue back.

I wouldnt do it.

Hey, thanks for the plug. I can refinish your Meucci to better than new condition.

If you don't want to send it to the factory and want the repairs done by someone who knows more about Meucci cues than just about anyone and has probably repaired more also. Get ahold of Mike Erwin 662-562-9009
www.erwincues.com
He used to work for Meucci and can do things on Meucci cues that few others can.

Scott Sherbine of proficient billiards is the best bet. Check out his website . he has worked on 3 Meuccis for me . The last was a refinish on the Meucci "airplane". If u want a picture of it PM me.
