Not sure if this should go into the stolen cues section or not but just wanted to warn anyone out there that is thinking of doing business with this company - think twice.

I setup a website to show my over year long interaction with them with all the emails posted for everyone to see. They're going to get some free advertising:

Amazing story. It sounded like first it was the shaft, then the butt, then the shafts again, and then the butt again. Crazy stuff going on in that shop.

I just read every word of the email exchange and.....WOW!!!!!!

Sorry you're going through this with them.

Hope you get it resolved soon, I'm won't hold my breath though.

Thanks Get_A_Grip and 9Ballr.. never had a problem with any other cue repair shop from PA to TX to FL.. this one takes the cake.

Maybe take a drive or fly there and walk in to see "Deron and Mark in person.... Looks like they spend too much time emailing and not enough time in the shop....

sure thought about it.. dont want to end up in jail over a cue though. 20 yrs ago yeah diff story

Of course this is not acceptable for a production cue company, however this is not that much different than many of the custom cuemakers out there.
This is common with Meucci, and it surprises me why they never just replace the cue with a new one when it gets to this point.
I'm opening up a new pro shop within Rocky Mountain Billiards and I certainly don't want my customers dealing with this crap.
Anyway I thought I heard a few years ago that Meullers was going to handle these repairs for Meucci.

:sorry:

This has been going on for over 20 years with Meucci.

Same stories just a different year.

Lots of people have gone through this.

.

Thanks for posting it all up  Meucci is going to be dragged down by themselves again. I really hoped to see an improvement with the new shafts and sponsorship deals but clearly nothing has changed :frown:

Got to give you the thumbs up for patience and behaving on your replies, I'm not sure if I could stay that calm for a year asking for my cue back

Geeze, that really sucks!
I would hope at this point they'd just get a hold of you and say, "Brian, we're sorry,
we've lost your cue. Please pick any cue you want and a couple of shafts and we'll
send it out that day."

I hope you sue anyways. You know small claims court isn't really all that small any more.
Here the small claims limit is $7500, and for something like this the award is generally
treble the damages (that's 3 X's the amount of the award).

Stuff like this really pisses me off. We complain about the state of pool in America
today. Crap like this isn't helping, you'd expect more from a company like this one.
Hope you sue and take your award and buy a SouthWest and a Sugartree.
You have been way too nice. Take them to court and kick their ass

I know, he is pretty cool.
I sold a brand new OB cue that developed a small issue, I sent it back to OB myself,
got it back right away, and never even noticed that the guy left me two horrible voice
messages accusing me of not sending the cue back.
The whole ordeal took less than two weeks and the guy totally lost it.
I never listen to voicemail, saw the message and figured he was just checking on the cue.
Finally listened to the messages days later when I was deleting voicemails.

This genuinely sucks.

For what it's worth, your demeanor throughout the year was really "the high road", and
You are to be commended.

Thanks for sharing the disaster.
