SOLD FOR 650. 1990-1991 Meucci Jimmy Rempe Original Owner, Refinished by Meucci. Original Owner. (NOTE: TITLE SAYS 1989. THATS WHEN I ARRIVED AT COLLEGE. CUE WAS PURCHASED LATER ESTIMATE 1990-1991)

NOTE: I FOUND A BEAUTIFUL 3/8-16 x 2.5" CHROME CAP HEAD BOLT THAT BRINGS THE PLAYING WEIGHT UP TO 19.55 OZ. REPLACED THE SATIN SS BOLT. BOTH INCLUDED.

I'm selling my Meucci Jimmy Rempe that I bought when I was in college in Atlanta in approximately 1990 to 1991. I purchased this cue from a billiards company on Peachtree Idustrail Blvd, north of Atlanta. The cue was brand new and I've had it ever since. I didn't break with it, always using house cues for breaking. It has been refinished by Meucci in July of 2020 and I've played just a few games with the cue since then. Cue has original matching shaft. The original ferule may have been ivory and was cracked early on in the cues life and had to be replaced. I believe the tip is a Kamui Black M but I do not remember. Meucci attached the tip per my request during refinishing. Meucci did not provide a receipt, only a payment link.

Excellent condition (refinished by Meucci in 2020 I think). Original shaft. Rolls straight.

Included:
Meucci Jimmy Rempe original butt (refinished by Meucci)
Meucci Jimmy Rempe original shaft (refinished and ferule replaced by Meucci)
NOTE: OTHER CUES AND CASE NOT INCLUDED.

Condition:
Excellent. One mark on the butt on the opposite side of the logo. Photo to be added.

Attached are photos of a the actual cue... My iPhone 15 Pro really yellowed up the butt and joint so I adjusted the photo as best as possible for my eye to approximate that color to what I see in my kitchen. The cue is not yellow in hand at all but the iPhone really yellowed out the butt and joint. More photos will be provided if there is interest. Rolling videos as well. These photos below are quick photos until I can get up to the clubhouse and use their table. I can provide rolling videos for people interested at that time. I'll have to go to the clubhouse table and film them there.

SHIPPING
UPS square box clear wrapped and bubble wrapped. Insurance per buyer request. I WILL NOT SHIP FEDEX NOR USPS. THOSE ARE UNRELIABLE (FEDEX STEALING MY SHIPMENTS IN GA). Asking buyer to pay shipping of his choice.

Meucci was really hot back then
everybdy was playing them buddy,Rempe, cliff Joyner beat me up playing a M,Jack potter even played those cues

Yes, they were. I remember looking at the selection in the store on 141, just north of Atlanta. I wanted the higher end designs but couldn't afford one. This cue served me well over the years when I played. And I didn't pull the cue out many times in those years. Maybe only 10 to 15 times since 1989 did I put it in the car and go play somewhere. Eager to see what it looks like when it's back from the manufacturer.

Please describe the handle. Doesn't look like there is a wrap, but what material is it?

Thank you.

The handle is a white/black specked linen wrap covered in clear coat and smooth. You can not feel the wrap. It is under the clear coat.

post pics when it comes back hopefully the original shaft it the same length etc, along with the original material and ferrule length

Meucci is back up for sale. I've decided to look at a custom cue from several cue makers while I wait on the indefinite Southwest list. I'm going back at emails and this post and reaching out to people who messaged me first to offer it to them first.

Bump with info: I reached out to the guys who emailed me the first time I posted this. They weren't interested but one was irritated at my asking price. Do I need to mention that offers are accepted? Isn't that a normal thing here to make offers, especially if the ad doesn't state, "firm" or "no offers accepted" or "asking price only". He also complained that there was too much information in the posting. I apologize that I did not put "or best offer"... I'll update that now. I'm sorry if there is too much info or too little info in the post. SMH.

Photos added. Close up photos of a mark on the butt. Barely noticeable when the cue is in hand. iPhone photos make the mark look like a crater.

Well, due to a Rum and Coke the other night, I ordered a Revo 12.4mm carbon shaft for this cue that will be here next week. I also went to the local hardware store and picked up a few bolts that Meucci said was the correct bolt size. Turns out the bolt size is a 3/8"x16 and when I pulled the rubber cap off the butt Meucci had put a plastic slotted flat head bolt in the weight slot, which is kind of nice of them to do. They must have done this during refinishing. I wish they would have put a weight bolt in there instead but beggars can't be choosers. So I'll be ordering two 3" stainless flat head bolts so I can set some rounded off playing weights with the inbound Revo shaft. If it is really nice I might keep the setup as my nostalgia for this cue is very strong. It was my first cue back when I was in college so since no one has even made an offer I am setting it up for me to play. Price now includes the Revo shaft which cost me over 500.00. I'll add photos when it gets here and it's all set up. Thanks!

Returning the REVO due to joint diameter mismatch. Price dropped to $500.00 [EDIT"minimum" as stated above)] for AZB members only. Being sold on e and might sell there first. Buyer pays shipping. Thank you.
