Meucci Joint Diameter

Thinking about buying an aftermarket shaft for an old Meucci sneaky pete that I have and was wondering if anyone knows what the standard diameter is for Meucci.

I tried to measure it but have no idea what I am doing. Couldn't tell if it said 21mm or 21.8mm

Any help is appreciated
 
My suggestion is... take it to a local machine shop and ask them to mic ("mike") it for you. I'm sure that they would do so at no cost to you.
 
21mm sounds about right for Meucci.they are usually skinnier than most at the joint and very skinny at the a-joint.
 
I have seen them from 0.835 to 0.820. To make sure take it to someone who has the proper tools and know how to do the job correctly. Don't take the car to the glass shop for a paint job.
 
Meucci joints will range anywhere from .780" up to about .845". I built an extension this week for a Meucci joint that was .813". So they have no standard size. They vary vastly from one cue to another. I would take the advice from previous posts and get someone with a good set of calipers or micrometers to measure it for you.
