Thanks for the links. I was able to identify a Meucci I have as a 1994 Larry Hubbart Summer Series. It had been an unknown quantity until your post.Subsonic2u said:There is an OL 3 with the name MEUCCI ORIGINALS written in block letters as shown here: http://www.budgetcues.com/archive/ . It is an older Q with the old name made in the late 80's. Then there is the O 3 with the name Meucci written in the newer script as shown here: http://www.discountpoolcues.com/meuccioldieseries.htm . The newer Meucci Qs started about 1990 -+. The older ones with the block letters Meucci Originals can b worth around 400-450 depending on condition. The newer ones with Meucci written in script will go 300-375 depending on condition. The older block letter Qs are more collectable. This change occurred when Bob Meucci decided to "modernize" the Qs with his name. The Qs that were in current production remained the same except the name change.
Some of the Qs the the Oldie Series were also used again when they made the 95 Series. The O 2 Airplane Q is an example, however some of the materials were changed. The actual sea shell in the propellars and the nickel silver used in the Oldie series was replaced with plastic in the 95 series.
To sum up,![]()
there is the OL-3, O-3, and the 95-22 which ranges from 275-350 as seen here: http://www.discountpoolcues.com/meucci_95 . Once u know what to look for, u can spot the differences.
Best of Luck
