Meucci Original Value

Hey all,

Just wondering how much a Meucci Original, probably 20 or so years old, might be worth. It's a plain-jane cue; no inlays on the forearm. It could use a new wrap, a new tip, a re-finish job on the forearm (some scratches), and it's missing the rubber bumper from the butt (is there a technical term for that?). But it's totally free of dings, still has the original shaft in good shape, and the hit is good (no vibration or anything). It belongs to someone I know, and I was just curious what if it was likely to be worth anything.

You could try finding it here: http://www.discountpoolcues.com/meucci_pool_cue_collectables.htm but in my opinion if it has the Meucci Original logo on it (the one with the "=" equal sign on it e.g. http://www.discountpoolcues.com/meucci_stamp.htm) then yes, it's a collectible!

I'm in no way connected to the links provided, but much Kudos to the guy for being an indispensable resource on old Meucci's - I love 'em!

The plain older Meucci originals with the old logo only sell for $125 - $175 depending on the shape. There were many, many thousands made.
