did any of them ever have a brass pin? i know pre 84' meucci's had brass pins, but not sure if that included sp's. i just picked one up and hoping it's real. the space between the points at the bottom are flat also. thanks

you're going to need to provide a closeup of the joint pin and probably the bottom side of the shaft as well buddy... imho

Looks like Meuccis old weight bolt an pin on the early models, Befor they changed shafts to laminates, I sold Meuccis from 84-98 when I changed my billiard repair bussiness from full time to part time! I dont fool with production cues anymore, Prefer real custom cue work over the others! But I must say If you got a good early Meucci they played well for what you spent,Personelly I cant play with the shafts they had, they where like a noodle rod way to much flex for me!

thanks, it's not my main player, just something to take out bar hustlin. today was the first time in over 15 yrs that i've played with a meucci in fact, and i gotta say, i have'nt been missing much all these years, lol. i'll prolly sell or trade it for a stiffer hit sneaky of some sort soon. i'm kinda wanting to try out one with a g10 pin. thanks again for the info.
