Hi guys,
I am obviously new to your site and was wondering if I could get a little help (hopefully I am ok posting this in the fs/wanted section).
I am going to look this weekend at a Meucci Star of David cue and was wondering if anyone that knows a bit about them could give me a little background info on them. Basically I am wondering the years that they produced the cue and around how much I could expect to spend on it. The folks at Meucci have been impossible to get information out of...
Thanks

The "Star of David" is a Meucci Original with block lettering and the "David Howard" name in block letters at the bottom.

The 95-23 is a re-release of the Star cue, but with colors switched and the script "Meucci" logo. It is a nice Meucci cue, but it is NOT a Star of David", and is no way close in value.

Thanks guys! This one looks just like the Star of David only it has a black wrap on it. Appreciate the help.

Just remember...the 95-23 has black points w/white ovals/red stars and the "Meucci" in script...it might run $350-500 in really good shape.

The genuine Star of David has white points with black ovals/red stars with the "David Howard by Meucci" in block lettering.

Here are some quick pix of the Meucci SoD that my son plays with...it is the real deal, not the re-make. Nothing wrong with the 95-23, it just is not a Meucci Original from the late 70s-early 80s....it is from 1995 and later.

These are the pictures of the cue that he sent to me. Looks like $500 shouldn't be a bad price on it if it is in pretty good shape...

Nice cue, and definitely the real deal...if straight and in good condition, it is a real find. The old Meucci cues are much better players than the new ones. As for the wrap color, no biggie...it may have been refinished/rewrapped at some point, however, wrap color choice was available from Meucci back when they were built.

If this cue is straight I would purchase for that price!

Either way you should purchase and either keep or list it here for sale :-)
