Well, I loved the look of this cue when I first saw it after it was released. But then, see this is what puzzled me about this model: "Composite Wood"? Wtf? I say this because...

The thing about Mezz cues has always been the wood, which historically is VERY high quality. Composite? Yeah, no. Not me. I'll stick to the real exotic wood models, if they ever make another I guess. Which at this point I really doubt they ever will. Or perhaps this term is just being used incorrectly in the description? Really meaning "a combination of woods"? I mean, Japanese language can be a bit odd when translated to English.

The pure exotic wood models, like the EC7 & EC9 (which were really the bottom of the line entry models of Mezz) that have completely sold out in the past 2 years when selling for $400-600, and are now completely gone from the world, are now listing used for 2-3 times that amount.

Glad I got mine before this scam market value shit started. It is as bad now as real estate. lol

This is a United Joint - a 5/16-14. It is a special Mezz version of this size, that has a pilot, and fits together SUPER tight. But, most flat faced shafts fit it fine also. I bought a Jacoby Ultra with the flat faced 5/16-14 for my UJ Mezz, and while not as tight it fits like a glove.

This price is also really good - only slightly above what these sold for 6-12 months ago before completely selling out everywhere in the world. Definitely a decent deal for brand new.
