mezz break cue

I used both the Mezz Powerbreak and the Power break 2 and let me tell you they break balls very well. I could not believe the way the rack exploded even breaking at half power. I have used a few different break cues and these are by far the best I have put my hands on.

i have used a stinger and currently carry the powerbreakII in my bag... and all i can say is racks get destroyed.... 9 ball racks on BB and 8 footer i avg 2 to 3 balls a break... and park the cue ball in the center. greatest feature about it... is the weight bolt washers... are easy to change depending on what is going on... if you feel too much weight is causing an issue... unscrew the handle ... take out a few washers... and bam.... your right back in business within 30 seconds. mezz really did alot of research and puts out a great break cue. I highly Recommend them!

I looked into a whole bunch of break cues. price, craftsmanship, all that good stuff. I ended up going with a Mezz pb1. I really didn't like the pb2 being a bit shorter. Maybe its just me. the one I bought KILLS the rack. I think it breaks harder than the bk2 and I was always a fan on predator brek cues until I used the mezz. thanks for all the advise and opinions everyone posted.

PBII is the bomb. I had it all and got stuck on the PBII. If money is no object get the new DI Pro shaft for the PBII.
Let me know if you need one PBII.

I've tried Bk2, Pbi, Pbii. Mezz def performed better than bk2 but i just couldn't get use to the length of pbii

I will echo everyone here....i have tried and owned many a break cue...pred, stinger, lucasi etc...the Powerbreak cue is the nutz, great feel and explosive with great control, i just didn't personally like the rubber wrap so i went with the PowerBreak II and it was love at first break. This is the best break cue i have ever owned. totally worth every penny. i am just saving up to grab me the new Deep impact pro shaft.

I also don't like the Rubber Wrap. I ordered a PB-O (Orange) and asked Viattorre to replace the wrap with Irish Linen (Black/Red). It looks awesome too.

BTW, PB's have special versions: PB-IIs with Exotic woods and Wrapless PBs.

Had the grip replaced with black linnen and its great. I think it nocks the hell out of the balls. Mezz needs to offer the cue with linnen or wooden handle though. That rubber sucks.

Mezz Break Cues!

I just picked up a Power Break I and let me tell you... THIS THING IS FREAKING AWESOME! I have tried the Power Break II (but couldn't get use to the length), Sniper II, and the BK2. With the Power Break I, I have noticed like others have stated, using a fraction the power but still exploding the rack. Since I have been using the PB, my breaks have been more consistent. I simply love this cue!

I just used the pb2 and i made about 3 or 4 balls on the snap.. I hope to get one soon...

I've tried both BK and PB, I find PB better. Like everyone here, I agree that PB gives you more raw power.

Some people like BK as it gives them better control but I find PB is better for me, like All4Moose, with a bit of practice you can also park the ball in the centre of the table after breaking.

I love the PBII. It's probably the best break shaft on the market! I want to get one very very soon!

What I don't like is that you cannot upgrade to the Deep impact pro shaft when you buy the cue, you have to spend another $250 on top of buying the cue to get that shaft. They should just allow you to upgrade from the start and pay the difference between the DI and DI pro shafts instead of trying to bang you for over $650 (retail) for a break cue and 2 shafts.

i am using a BK2 and i have tried a pbI and pb II. the pb definitely has lotsa power thrown into the rack but i do not find the control better than the BK2

I tried Tony's PBII and it took a second to get used to the shortness of the butt. But when I did man the balls just exploded and what a thundering lightning crack it gave the rack. It shocked the hell out of me. Nice cue all the way!
