I am thinking about picking up a Mezz EC7 line cue or a OB 2012 Cue or a Tiger cue. I need some help in deciding which one. Looks are not important to me also.

I loved the hit of my Mezz, I bought an ob cue, got a good deal and thought i'd try wrapless. Now I find myself using the mezz butt and the ob classic shaft. I think it's more of a mental thing, always looking for that "hit".:embarrassed2:
The best way to select is to try each one (if possible). Your choice is "subject" to what "feels" best to you in the end. All of your listed manufacturers make good cues. I've shot with all of them. I decided to go with a OB-127 setup because it felt best to me at the time. Even so, it didn't stop me from continuing to try other options. I am still shooting with my OB cue but moved from a Classic Pro shaft to an OB-2 with a G2 Med tip. It's the combo that I was able to get the consistency in the hit I was looking for.
Before sinking the cash into a cue, try them first if you can.
In the Philippines there are some truly fantastic custom cuemakers who will make you a cue for the same price or less than a Mezz, yet all you hear over there is Mezz Mezz and more Mezz! There's gotta be a reason. When I ordered a custom cue from Tony Bautista he asked if I wanted a wavy joint or a united joint. They are Mezz joints!
