Mezz Deep Impact Shaft vs. Predator BK2 Shaft

What are the key differences? Looking to upgrade just the shaft. I currently have an OB Break Shaft on my road break cue and its just not stiff enough. I plan to sell this shaft on eBay.

I haven't tried the Mezz Deep Impact shaft, but own a Predator Bk2 as my main break cue, hits solid, but interested in feedback from people who have tried both break shafts.

I use the BK2 and have only hit 1 break cue I would trade it for and it was a custom with a LD shaft from Bill Gibbs out of Tennessee. I tried the Mezz at the Masters 10Ball a few times and it did hit solid but to me the ball didn't jump off the cue like is does on my BK2.
 
I don't have a big break but i made 6 balls on 10 ball tournament on deep impact. I've used both but i like the deep impact. For me, i have more cue ball control using deep impact against BK2.
 
Thanks for the feedback. I not going to an event in the near future where Mezz will be setup to try their break cues/shafts. I switched to a hybrid pro 2 from 314-2 and test hit all their playing shafts and really like the change so far. I just missed getting feedback from the 314-2. In short, I will either have to buy on deep impact and try it out or wait till BCA or the Super Billiard Expo. I'm can't remember if they were setup at Derby City?

Hey Mark,
I recently chopped the phenolic off my bk-2 and put a g-10 tip on....
I like it so far, more pop with less speed

Seems to be really good so far
 
I also cut the phenolic off when I got it. I put a Samsara break tip on, since BCA does not allow phenolic. If I got a Mezz shaft, I would have to go that route, unless I decided not to play BCA. Granted, I'm taking 2012 off from BCA to focus on different events, like the whole Derby Tourney and the Super Billiards Expo. Not sure if the Super Billiards Expo bans phenolic as well?
