Why doesn't the Mezz USA website show the Exceed cues?

From doing a little research and then finding the Mezz Exceed website which is a Japanese site it seems to me that all the hottest designs of the Mezz cues are the Exceed models.

Three of my favorite Exceed models are:

EXC-7TA5W
EXC-SKD6ES1
EXC-S132NAW

I could not find any pricing or ordering information either :sorry:

Was wondering this myself. Had similar problem finding all of the Mezz products stateside.

Well they don't offer the Exceed cues for sale to the USA. So that is why they probably don't have them on the mezz USA website. Or were you wondering why they don't sell them to the USA? That I don't know.

Exceed is a seperate brand and as far as I know does not have any US dealers.
I'd be happy to help with any purchase, I am a Mezz and Exceed dealer located in Europe.

My prices are in Euro, if you add around 15% you have the price in US$ as long as you live outside the EU (so a cue that costs € 2000 is around $ 2300)
I have 2 of the 3 models you mention in my catalog, they are in the $4-5000 range.

Thanks but I, for one, will look for a product line a little less anti-U.S.A. exclusive, or simply wait til it's available stateside. Appreciate the offer though.

There is nothing anti-USA about Exceed. Someone (a respected dealer) simply has to step ut to the plate.
Until then I am happy to help.

Dave maybe I have a totally wrong impression of Mezz/Exceed. To my mind they are a production cue company much like Predator?
I have shot with 2 Mezz cues both had the WD700 shaft and I thought they played great.
Having said that from a value/resale point of view who in their right mind would spend $4K-$5K on a Production or at best a Semi-Custom cue?
For $4K-$5K I'll put my money into a Gina, Showman, Black Boar, ETC................

Check out this site guys, i found this when researching Mezz Exceed cues. This Japanese site sells cues of various famous brands like Predator, Adam, Lucasi, Mezz... Their customer service is superb!

You can find tons of Exceed cues that are not listed in Mezz Exceed website and the good thing is they are listed with price. They are not your taste? No problem, contact them via email and order one with the configuration to your like. You can customise things that you thought they are not customisable. Ex: WD700 19mm

The site is from japan and there's no option to switch to English but that's not a big problem with google translate service.

Btw, Mezz Exceed has just released EXCEED TELESCOPIC EXTENSION. So you can get precise shot control for making those hard to reach shots with the Exceed Telescopic Extension

Well, nobody said these were cheap;)

They are a production cue company but there is a big difference between Predator and Mezz.
The most important is off course these are made in Japan where the cost of living (and thus the
average wage) is amongst the highest in the world.

Also the quality of the workmanship in every aspect (fit, finish, woods/materials used) are amongst
the best in the world, certainly the best of any production cue company.
They spend quite a bit of time on each cue, that combined with the high cost of living leads
to rather high prices. Espescially since a lot of the cues are built to customer specs (you can
specify almost anything you like on an Exceed). The fact they are a production company which
means there is a dealer (me) who also has to make some money adds to this off course.

That said, a wrapless Plain Jane with nice rings starts at around $ 1400, I do not think you can
get a Gina, Showman or Black Boar for that kind of money, but I certainly understand your point.

Mezz USA has been selling Exceed Cues but on a custom order basis. Exceed cues are customizable and most of our customers request for changes for wood used, joint system, style of rings, etc. we do not sell ready made Exceed cues. For more information on Exceed cues, please email info@mezzusa.com.

Thanks!
