Here's an interesting one. Was told this is the makers logo Midwest area?

Looks like a cheap cue that someoene went after with a woodburning kit. Probably some gameroom supply store that put their name on some basic cues. There is a 'Michael' cue that J&J sells but this is not one of those.
 
Looks like it was done with a laser engraver but the settings (power/speed/focus) weren’t set right for the material. Depending on the material, changes in setting is required. Even different woods require setting settings to be dialed in. Plastics can burn very quickly if you don’t dial in the settings. It’s like setting up a welder depending on the metal and thickness.

It might just be personalized, as in it's Michael's cue. Standard photos of joint and with the bumper removed are helpful for ID.
