Blackbird Billiards has two weekly tournaments, and plenty of good players, who like to gamble. The owner, Tim White, can probably steer you to somebody your speed, whatever that is. Headed over there myself, right now, if you want to play some! Come up and introduce yourself, at any rate!

I can't make two balls in a row but I might consider trekking up there to play a little...
kalamazoo action
I don't think you will have any problem finding action in west michigan. it is cold everyone is playing. I live in florida but I grew up in kalamazoo. there are two pool halls there. blackbird and playtime billiards. each room has a couple tournaments a week. there is a sunday tournament at playtime. handicapped 9 ball loser breaks. I think they still have an 8 ball tournament during the week. blackbird has I believe 9 ball on big tables on saturdays. and a banks tournament and one pocket during the week. if you go east to battle creek(30 minutes) there is a room used to be called billiard cafe, owned by Jamie Goodwin. he always has tournaments there. He has an awesome monthly scotch doubles tournament that always has atleast $4000 in the calcutta. He recently remodeled it and made it into more of a bar from what I have heard but plenty of action. If you get bored there you are a 40 minutes from tons of action in Gr and an Hour from Jackson,Mi which has an awesome friday night tournament and a big tournament every month or every other month.

if ya want action you can treck to hall of fame in warren michigan. it's about an hour and 15 min or so from where your at but they moved their open tournaments to saturday. sign up at 1 draw 1:30. tony cohan was here last week, there are also about 4 or 5 different road players up here now. you could be the next if the price is right.

yes there is plenty of action in Kzoo, Playtime billiards, has a good variety of skill leveled players, plus they have a good Sunday Handicap tournament, which starts at 4pm i believe, but showing up early is nice.

i went by blackbird last night didnt see much of anything even resembling action not that im a player because im not but do like to match up and play might try playtime out tonight just up here working and will be here for about 3 more days and then sturgis all next week if have any ideas someone plz let me know thanks alot and have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!

The Saturday tournament at Hall of fame starts around 2:30. Not sure how much is added. The tables are 9ft gold crowns. The cloth is pretty worn and the tables play pretty fast. I have a diamond 9ft at home with the pockets shimmed so the pockets at hall of fame seem pretty big to me. I will be there at 1 if you want somebody to knock around balls with... The entry fee is 20.

the new edition of inside english has the sign up at 12;30 AND 1 PM START. I KNOW THE TOURNAMENT JUST GOT MOVED TO SATUERDAY AND THE START TIMES FOR THE FIRST ONE WAS LATE. IT'S $20 ENTRY, $200 added,RACES TO 5 AND 4. NO CALCUTTA BUT YOU CAN BET ON JUST ABOUT ANY MATCH. USSUALLY ALOT OF TOP PLAYERS. there have been over 60 players when they had it on thusday, and the first saturday one had over 32 , it shuold be pretty good. THANKSJJLING said:
