I think the op can still make a good go at a sale but I do agree that for a $2k item more info would make it a lot easier.

To the op: If you have pics up on cueman's website, you can post a link to make it easier for your prospective customers to see the lathe. Or click "edit" on your original post then click "go advanced" and scroll down to the "Manage Attachments" button, click that and you can upload the pics directly on to the original post.

If you have difficulty with it I'd be happy to walk you through it, just shoot me a pm.

Finally, with a relatively low post count and no itrader, if you have az friends who know you and could vouch for you, that would be a big help, as well.

I don't know much about their values but I do know these hightower lathes are sought after pieces.

I think most people really don't want to see a stock photo from a web site, They want to see a real picture of the real item they would be buying, The fact that the seller cant show that is going to turn a lot of people away. As far as having a friend to back you, That's pretty much worthless as it's to easy to fake, Not saying there is anything wrong with this seller but the way he is presenting this for sale post is all wrong and people are going to run from it,,,,
