Mika 2 and out at Turning Stone

Mika didn't go out in 2. He won his first set.

But yeah...eugh. Oh well. An amazing year anyway. :)

He lost hill-hill on an amazing jump shot, which he made....but his cue touched the 8ball, resulting in BIH for his opponent.

my bad. I see that he won his first match before the Thorsten match.

Your point is still basically the same, Vette.

Mika has been playing phenomenal this year, but battling that hard (13 wins loser side, US OPEN?) takes a ton of energy and he's due for a break I'd guess.

I think he'll continue to play well next year, he just needs to chill for a bit and get his energy and desire back up.

If Mika had the flu as was previously reported, it will take a while to return to 100%.

Vette had ulterior motives on his OP. He HONESTLY believes HE should get POTD award.

(for his exemplary performance in pocket pool).

;)

Talked to Mika this afternoon and it is very hard to play well when you have the flu. He was not feeling good at all.

lol

mika won almost everything, us open, world 10ball,

look at his money prize this year,

the flu maybe his asian girlfriend?

I saw the end of the match. He was obviously not playing his speed. I also heard he's fighting the flu now. I think it would be prudent to ignore this performance.

That Jump shot was incredible! There was someone standing in front of me at the time, making it hard to see the cueball during the shot. I was just watching the 7 ball. I saw the cue ball land and nail the shot. I couldn't believe it. The crowd went nuts!... Then, everyone said that he moved the 8. What an unfortunate end to Mika's weekend.
