Hi,

The Titlist was originally a one-piece cue. Bender converted it into a two-piece cue, using his own joint, shaft, and so forth.

I don't mean to butt in to this thread, but I noticed you play with a Sherbine SP. I have been thinking about getting one. What are your thoughts about the cue? Quality? Good hit? I had him refinish a scruggs I had, and he did a fantastic job, so I would think his cues are well built............Anyways, do you like it?

Hi DC,

I'll but in and say that the Sherbine sneaky hits great. I shot with a friends cue (3/16, 14 pin, no wrap), and thought the hit was really great. My friend has a collection of over 40 cues and uses this cue to shoot with...must tell you something. Anyway the quality was just fine.

Hi,

If anyone's interested, I just spoke to Mike Bender. He told me that my cue is, in fact, the only purpleheart heart Titlist convesion he's ever made.

He also said that, in total, he's made very few Titlist conversions and will make no more.
