Fun video but it shows when a pro has no fear of you beating them they just free stroke and its gets real ugly real fast. 😅

There also can be a huge difference between an APA 9 and an APA 9. I've seen APA 7's in 8ball couldn't beat our APA 5 on their best day. The 7 just picked and chose who'd he'd match up with, inflating his ranking. Brian

Top pros play reely well, it is true.

There was a guy that could give everybody in the area at least 10/7 in one pocket, and Efren came to town and gave that guy 12/7 - 12/6 (Efren's break).

Efren won.

This is in Fitchburg, MA at my old stomping grounds. James Chirco is a good local player, but not going to be hitting the pro tour any time soon. I never actually saw him in any tournament that I played, and we lived in the same area. It's nice to see some people I know having fun playing Dechaine. One of them is an SL-4 (if not all of them).

You are correct. Although they did say this 9 is a mid 500 Fargo I believe. I also know someone who plays apa who’s over 700

That seems very unrealistic. A 7 not beating a 5 on their best day?

Yeah. Hell I've played 750's and even at that level the difference in a "2nd tier" pro and regular people is laughable.

if he was an apa 9 then apa must go to 20 or something for the top players in the league.

ratings are ridiculous.

The point is, the 7 is not really a 7, he's inflated his ranking by only playing opponents they know they can beat. It's cherry picking, they will never shoot anyone they know they can't handle. This in turn raises their ranking to an undeserved level, because their win rate is high. They actually might be a 5 or less. That's why I stated, there's a huge difference between a 9 and a 9. Brian.

What's with the piece of cloth attached to the rack? I've never seen that before.
The guy in the video says someone there invented it but I saw that like 30 years ago at the club lol it’s to stop the roll marks balls make when you load the rack and roll it forward. You put that under the rack . Put the balls in and when you roll the rack forward that rolls out the back.
