movie coming out???

Tom,I just finished your book and thought it was very well written.Iwas wondering if and when the movie will follow?
that storyline sure would look great on the big screen. Once again Tom ,it was a great read and I hope the saga continues up on the silver screen.
 
Hey Russ and LALouie,

I've been asking myself the same question for about seventeen months now and I still don't know the answer. I do have a copy of my book being looked at by Lionsgate studios but as of right now there's no good news to report.

My sales so far have reached a little over eight hundred copies. Considering the economy and the state of the world, in general, I think I've done pretty well, so far. I did self-publish and I have a limited amount of money to use for advertising my book. I was hoping this forum would help and so far I have gotten good support from the people on here. Thanks all of you.

The benchmark for a best seller of self-published books is 1,000 copies. I hope to reach that in the near future.

As far as Jennifer goes, it would be great to get a young female player like her, or even Jeniffer, to play the role of Flo. I will insist, if the movie ever happens, they use or at least teach the people playing different parts to be able to hold and shoot shots like they have played the game before. It takes so much of the believable part of the story away when the actors and actresses can't even hold the cue.

Where is the sequel ?

I have read all the fictional and story type books known to man.
I need more now ! Please.

You know I do not need those instuctional books.
Very boring to read what you already know ! hehe
 
Hey Gary, (OLDZILLA),

The sequel is in the works, I've written 14,000 words approximately eight chapters. Unfortunately, I haven't sold enough copies of the first book, Right on Cue, to break even so I can't justify the cost of publishing the second book until I do. I'm about 1,500 copies shy of the break even point. The cost of self-publishing is pretty steep, especially when the person writing the story has limited writing skills. The editors cost was the steepest.

Challenge To You All

Hey come on everyone let's support Tom by buying his book, so that we can ensure the next one is published at someone else's expense not just Tom's. I bought a copy of Tom's book and got it with both Tom and Mike's signature and gave it to my wife. She reads books by the 'gazillions' and is eagerly awaiting the next one from Tom.

Come on AzB er's I challenge you all to support Tom and buy his book, it would make a great Christmas Present for someone and not just the Pool players out there. More importantly you will also help me to get the wife off my back about the next book :rolleyes:
