A really nice, rare cue. Mike Lancaster is thought to have made around 100 cues, total. This one is extremely nice . It has 6 points, 3 hi ebony and 3 lo amboyna burl with 2 veneers into nice curly maple.
It has a pressed irish linen wrap and 3 reverse amboyna points with 2 veneers into an ebony butt sleeve. This cue has very nice silver ring work at all positions, and comes with 2 full shafts and weighs 19.3 oz Cue is signed "M. Lancaster 12-97".

I have played a few hours with this cue and i love the way it hits. The weight is balanced very well. Very sharpe cue !

I am looking for a 2x4 Justice or Murnack case . Would trade for a nice case and some cash.
I would also like to some day try a Scruggs if anyone has one they would like to trade for this cue .

Used to own it...as did another two AZB members (one before, and one after me).

It's a nice looking cue....and they are VERY hard to come by.

Mike Lancaster cues

I too own a Mike Lancaster cue and can confirm that they are of good quality construction. The shafts with my cue are some of the best shafts I have ever seen and/or played with.
 
Thanks Kevin the same is true with this cue the shaft wood is great and this cue does play very well and feels very nice in your hand the balance is so good most cant tell it is 19.3 oz. To tell the truth i just posted it to see what kind of offers i get if i dont get a fair offer ill keep it.

R mike landcaster cues good q's and does he have website?
 
I think mikes cue are very nice and as i stated this cue plays Great !!!
No he dont have a web site as he stopped making cues in 2001 i think he made less than 100 cues total.

I know a guy here in nc that has a wrapless 4 pointer. eboney and maple .Nice lookin q i got first dibs on it when he sells it..
 
Well if it plays like the one i have you will be very happy trust me this is one of the best hitting cues i have ever played with.
