i only need about 10 minutes of your time, Of the 2 of you I need to talk to the more computer tech guy. We have reached the max in REP, I have a solution(perhaps), I can get it fixed for free by my biz partner who has never been here on AZ. He cant play a lick but at least his curtains match the 860 on his B-Wick $9,000 box that should have cost around $400 wholesale max. He isnt a pool player he get into programming like we do pool, he has for well over 20 years.
I would also like to give credit to most everyone here on AZ for making AZ #1, there are ups and downs on all message boards, we have had our share. But I think as a online community were at our all time best as a whole. Which makes AZ a premium site for venders to buy space and traffic to their businesses. So we just have to keep the moral good.

If it is I need a copy of the BB with no data, we go in and re-write the REP section, not change the formula that creates the inflation, just how its displayed. When were done we send you back the modified version of the BB, then your teck guy repopulates the data, and publishes the new and improved REP system, we will put a trojan in there so no matter what Smorg is #1 for eternity and the REP hoes are in beez neez,
The above is assuming that the BB is open source code, I know its written in PHP(and more often than not from my understanding) and my biz partner is a PHP expert and can make the change to the REP module-to keep the algorythem that creates inflation untouched, he will just keep the client side screen looking as it awalys has so when 300 people have 2.147B the game wont stop(progressive scores keep people playing REP), he wont have access to any data, he needs just the most recient version your running of the source code for the BB in PHP language. Us Guys at the top on REP talk about it, and its real fun for us, I been doing it for 3 years now its part of my daily thing. Smorg on many times said and this is his spelling "Being #1, the pressure is imence". he mispelled it just to bust my balls, but he was right. its a good tool to keep people comming back to AZ, it was put there as a tool to keep your members logging on daily, REP takes alot of dedication to get up there and stay. Infact the site were doing is right along the REP concept. Its about usage-keep them comming back and your site is worth tones more. I have seen boards sell for $20M, and I'm sure that wasnt the biggest. I just knew this guy who was a miniority stock holder.
Like I mentioned before retention and usage adds value to a board, REP with no points wont work, or we could go in and re-set the scores to Zero, that would take about 10 minutes. Set/:value=0 or some simple line of code like that and poof werre all back to square one. and we could race to the top.
I just re read this and I failed to discribe what the change* is LOL. The change we wont even be noticable the numbers will just keep growing and growing, what the change is, is keep it the same. In the next paragraph below it shows what computers are given long strings of numbers, they abbevate the long numbers into 8-12 digets that would take up a whole screen to display if there wasnt the abbervation.
there could be other obsticals computers dont like long srtings of numbers so they shorten them by giving them a new format that would really suck for REP, but is essential for the computers speed to handle such numbers. And the programmers cant change hardware protocals. The numbers would read like this 1.9846546e+13, its been wayh too long ago for me to remember how thats calculated but i believe it will have 13 zeros on it(i think) it gets very efficant when you go to 1.3216843245e+567 that number is so huge you couldnt write it. The hardware might force the PHP programmer to change formats after the 2.147 billion REP is stuck at.
