Mike Webb or Darrin Hill

i have never owned a hill cue but you can't go wrong with mike webb's cue. he offers some of the best customer service in the business, totally stands behind his product 110%, and there isn't a nicer guy in the business. oh, and his cue's play lights out too.
 
Webb Cues

I won't say I have a preference because I have never owned a Hill cue. As for Mike Webb, I have owned 4 or 5 and every cue played fantastic. The hit was quiet and the cues generated a lot of spin. Though Mike has offered some low deflection cues, I have had the best experience with radial pins and long ivory ferrules from him. I've found that his cues hit very consistently and as another poster noted, Mike's finish is superb. As for issues of aesthetics, webb custom cues has an extensive web site with cue gallery. We feel that both cues are great and Darrin feels that mike web makes a great cue and is fond of his work also. I think it all boils down to preference and playability with that said keep up the nice work mike thanks Hillscues

Best Finish and Firmest Hitting Cue I've Owned

My 2,

I just got this Hill from an asset to the AZ community (Chenz).

I was skeptical as I was trading my prized Manzino, however the woods/length of points/FINISH, and solid playability place this Hill up there with the best I've hit.

I'm sure most of you have had an opportunity to see this cue which has 4 shafts but I may have to part with it and if it strikes your fancy HOLLA!

Vin, has the C.O.A. outlining all specs however I think the cue specs are;

Butt 15.4 Gaboon Ebony/Sapele Handle/ Holly Points
Shaft 1 @ 4.2 13.01 3/4 Ivory Ferrule
Shaft 2 @ 4.0 12.89 3/4 Ivory Ferrule
Shaft 3 @ 3.8 12.74 Full Size Titan Ferrule (Could be LBM)
Shaft 4 @ 3.4 12.49 Full Size Titan Ferrule (Could be LBM)

Mike Webb Is One Of The Most Underated Cue Makers We Have The Luck Of Knowing,his Cues Stay Straight,hit Excellent And He Stands Behind Them Waaaay Too Long For His Own Good,you Cant Go Wrong With His Stuff

i was just down at Mike shop last week & he beat the s**t out of one of the cue & nothing happen, no ding, scratch or whatsoever just as you mention. also the finish is superior, have to admit, Mike got the best finish on the market, (that just my opinion).
Oh, by the way Tank, you probably knows this cue below. Mike is finishing up this week & sending it down to me next week. HeeHee :D

I know i'll be very happy with the cue cuz when Mike show it to me, it only took under 30 minute for me to decide & told mike i'm taking the cue & not to sell it to anyone else.
No, he didn't use the Ebony cue to show me, he use my cue, the one i posted & that with a Snakewood butt & nothing happen, i was like S**T nothing happen, no crack or anything. can't imagine when Mike finish it up, i can beat someone with that cue & get away with it.....:D ;)
