I was the recipient of several of his 'flames' and he takes things he 'thinks' are true and proceeds to make them gospel - which does absolutely no good for our struggling industry. Also, Mike's insistence that no response means his side of the story is 100% accurate is improper and bullying other posters.

Hopefully he will 'mellow out' a little. If you treat others with respect - then you will be treated with respect. This is all I am going to say on this issue.

It's great for him to promote pool but to bash his competitors is unacceptable and unprofessional. He has flamed, spread rumours, and telephoned his competitor's sponsors. I don't know why he started doing this, but I pray his behaviour gets better.
 
You know what would be funny, if you had a SON OF JANIS, and a USED-TO-BE-JANIS, VIKING-RULES, and other aliases popping up.

Odds are, he's got 1 or 2 waiting for the right time.
So....
Lets also keep an eye on posters with low numbers who defending him.:D

There is a forum for tournaments and if they comply, they are advertised on the opening page. Just like NPR buddy. If you arn't looking for a tournament, you don't have to go through it, post, after post, after post!

I meant no disrespect to Mike by starting the thread. I've only been getting on here lately to check in with Mike about the upcoming tournament.

Been on maybe 3 times in the last month. So I got on to contact him and went to PM him but saw it said banned. I knew nothing of what happened and saw nothing posted about it so my only way to find out was ask.

I received a PM asking me what my point was to this thread and why did I post it. What is it I did wrong? I wanted to PM Mike and saw he was banned. So all I did was ask what happened and to find out if it was true.

Is there an e-mail addy I can write Mike at? If so I would appreciate it. Just PM me so I can contact him.

Mr. Griffin, I have stayed out of all of this until Mike was banned. But I really got to say this is typical Mark Griffin--yeah as you may figure I am not your biggest fan it may have something to do with the emails and letters you have sent to our sponsors and industry leaders--(before you reply--I do have copies of the emails and letters--so you may want to think about it before you go there). It really shows what you are made of to wait until Mike is banned to voice your opinion--and by the way I was there listening during all the conversations you two had about the ATS, I warned Mike not to trust you, but his passion for this idea to help futher the sport and his passion for the sport itself lead him to believe you had the same passion as he did and you were trust worthy--but I guess you showed him didn't you-- and to think people believe you are in this for the betterment of the sport sorta alike a few other people I believe Mike refers to you as the new Don Mackey now---I gotta say at least Mike honors his word people know they can still do business with him based on his word and a handshake---

You know I realize I am married to him but I gotta say guys at least he stands by his word.

And to think the guys at the 9 Ball Championship were worried about you and Mike sitting together when to tell the turth about the only reason it went at well as it did was out of my respect to Mike because I was there listening and witnessing all the back handed, back stabbing crap you pulled and I was really p****ed at having to share a table with someone that is as unethical as you are.

I can honestly say if the truth hurts and they dont want it to come out then they shouldn't do it. Think about it, do you think Mike just makes this stuff up. Honestly, I am always here listening I know what is really going and yes I call it passion unfortunately he gets so upset by what is really going on that he turns it negative instead of just letting it go. I have heard the conversations between Mike and room owners and pool players about the other tours and tournament directors Mike has mentioned.

You should really pay closer attention. Mike does not ever say anything bad about the good tours in fact he has invited the good tours to work together and the facts are several of them have worked together closely with Mike for the betterment of the sport. In fact you can find several posts that relate to this. Don't be so blinded by being one sided look at all the facts before you rush to judgement.
