I am in the process of setting up a series of 9-ball qualifiers in Chelmsford Ma. This is for the New Allen Hopkins Million Dollar 9Ball Shootout.
Format: Double Elimination race to 9 Rotating Breaks.
Entry Fee: $200.00

Payout Structure

1st: $5000 Entry into Main Event
(guaranteed $1000 payback)
2nd: $400
3rd: $200
4th: $200

With his years of experience Allen Hopkins will make this the largest pool tournament ever.
:) I believe Allen has the Reputation in the Pool world to make this Happen:)
 
This is great. People have been speculating about when more information would be forthcoming, now we have some! It looks like, according to this page there are many qualifier dates set, more than one every two months, which is excellent. That should really get people interested ahead of time, and give a lot of players a shot at going to the big one!!!

Let's hope that Allen pulls this off. He has the contacts with TV and he has learned from the IPT mistakes and has kept the purse at 1 million. I think he will pull it off and everyone will be happy. Johnnyt

I think along with Allen's TV Contacts and the Qualifiers Costing as little as $200. The players are going to do well this time Allen has seen all the Ups&Downs in the Pool world and he is just the guy to make it Rite!
