I am in the process of setting up a series of 9-ball qualifiers in Chelmsford Ma. This is for the New Allen Hopkins Million Dollar 9Ball Shootout.
Format: Double Elimination race to 9 Rotating Breaks.

Payout Structure

1st: $5000 Entry into Main Event
(guaranteed $1000 payback)
2nd: $400
3rd: $200
4th: $200

With his years of experience Allen Hopkins will make this the largest pool tournament ever.
I believe Allen has the Reputation in the Pool world to make this Happen

Definitely Feasible....

Based on what I have read so far at the website, the proposed tournament qualifiers are very reasonable and "do-able".

I guess that if more pool rooms take an interest, this Million Dollar Tournament could be a great success, not only for Allen but for the "Pool World" as a whole.

Aruba and Puerto Rico definitely interested in the 2nd Option Tournament (32 players - Double Elimination - $200 Entry).
