Mind blowin', reality alterin', cues by Fanelli

Simplicity?????????

While there is nothing 'simple' per se about these cues, what I mean is, you won;t find a lot of Fanelli's out there loaded with inlays. I don't think I've ever seen one with scrimwork and, in fact, Ivory isn't even used too oftenin Paul's cues. When it is, its used sparingly.

Essentially, you're dealing with cues the way they used to be made: all wood. And They are stunning.

The designs themselves may not be simple, but the elements are.

That was what I meant by 'simplicity'.

All I can say is.............WOW! Absolutely stunning and beautiful cues. If I had an extra $2K floating around I'd be an owner of one of those wrapless cues.

Hey Brian...you have me and Jazz (Ho) confused! I love Paul's butterfly work. Simplicity and elegance but by no means simple. Paul is working with some tight tolerances. If the veneers are more than a few thou out of whack the butterflies don't line up. I have a feeling Paul is going to be coming with some technicolor veneered butterfly cues in a few months or so. I'm looking forward to seeing them. I think we're gonna need drooling bibs! I hope Joe V will give me the opportunity to hit a few balls with one of Paul's cues at VF this year.

BTW, what are you playing with now? I saw you sold your playing cue a while back here. Did you get another Paul Mottey? I hope to see some new Mottey cues at VF...his work is top notch.

Yeah. I realized that I had the two of you guys confused as soon as I saw that you had replied. My bad guys.

Anyway, yeah. I sold the Mottey. I sold everything I have. I picked up a Sugartree sneaky pete to bang balls with and it plays great!!! But unfortunately, I don't get too many chances to play anymore so I don't play that great these days.

I also picked up a Bob Frey cocobolo sneaky with a hoppe ring and a 1x2 black ostrich hide Brunswick, by George case. I'm not gonna play with The cue but the cue and case came as a package and the seller was desperate to get rid of them so I got them for next to nothing.

Anyway, take it easy. Hope to see ya at VF!

Wow these are crazy. Would love to see one up close. Does anyone know how long Paul's wait list is?

Thanks Mike

Hopefully I will have the money saved for one from the next batch. Got to hit a couple balls with a butterfly Fanelli the other day and was really impressed with his work.
