Mini Tournys on bar boxes?

Its been a few years since I went to the Derby. The last time I went they were running nightly mini tournaments upstairs on Diamond bar boxes. I heard someone say they haven't been bringing any bar boxes to the Derby anymore. Did I hear wrong?

Bar boxes are across the street at the Executive Inn. They play the BCA tourney over there and run minis.

Thanks. So the Derby isn't held in the hotel anymore?

The Derby events, as well as a few other things such as the 3C qualifiers and the 14.1 events are all held at the Executive West...the traditional home for the DCC. The bar box events, as of last year, were moved across the street to the Executive Inn. The rooms upstairs at the Executive West that used to house the bar boxes now house big tables and are used for the DCC events during the day at times.

Do they have 9-ball banks tournies on the bar boxes? And does anyone know the entry fees and schedule?
